When financial monitoring hinders business: Ukrainian practice vs. international experience


31 years since independence, Ukraine remains the only country among the former Soviet republics that has not managed to reach the GDP level of 1990. First of all, due to the reorientation from industrial development to the agrarian and raw material model of the economy.

However, it was not only this that affected the deterioration of the economic situation. Unfortunately, under the slogans "we are going to Europe" and "building a free market", domestic officials managed to regulate all business processes so much that the conditions for doing business in our country are currently almost the worst in Europe and among the worst in the world.
