Will the State Online Monitoring System be operational soon?

The reform of the gambling market in Ukraine from the outset envisioned the creation of a unified, automated state regulatory system designed to guarantee transparency in the operations of all legal gambling operators and provide clear insight into the volume of financial flows.

The Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Activities Related to the Organisation and Conduct of Gambling” stipulated that the government must ensure all conditions for the operation of the State Online Monitoring System (SOMS). It was planned to become operational starting in 2021. Read more.
