Within the framework of public consultations launched by CRGL on January 28, 2022, the Ukrainian Gambling Council, which unites 80% of the legal gambling business in Ukraine, submitted to the Regulator draft amendments to the profile and related laws governing gambling.
UGC's draft amendments include the following:
⁃ abolition of the populist provision related to 500 meters distance for construction of slot machine halls;
⁃ automation of documents submission to CRGL;
⁃ detailing the list of documents for the players’ verification and identification;
⁃ clarification on PPO application;
⁃ clarifications on certification bodies, as well as other amendments.
We thank CRGL for its openness in improving the legislation in the field of gambling and the opportunity to share our expertise.
We are convinced that effective solutions for the development of the industry can be found only within the dialogue between the state and business.
