The Ukrainian Gambling Council (UGC) calls for the introduction of the State Online Monitoring System (GSOM). It should be launched in order to control the activities of gambling operators, monitoring of the gaming equipment operation, and ensure the gamblers’ rights.
The State Online Monitoring System should provide the following: unhindered round-the-clock real-time transmission and reception of data on each operation for accepting a bet, returning a bet, paying out the winnings (prize), and making a payment; the possibility of a remote shutdown of slot machines; the protection of gamblers’ rights and minimization of the gambling addiction manifestations; confidentiality of gamblers’ personal data, etc. Read more
