Today, a founding meeting of the working group on the issues related to gambling addiction, as part of the Advisory and Expert Council within the Gambling and Lotteries Regulation Commission, was held. UGC were presented at this meeting by Anton Kuchukhidze and Mykhailo Koval. It was decided to appoint Mykhailo Koval as the head of this group, and it was also agreed that the group should work out the necessary draft regulations, namely:
- Draft decision of the Gambling and Lotteries Regulation Commission “On approval of the requirements to prevent gambling addiction”;
- Draft decision of the Gambling and Lotteries Regulation Commission “On approval of the procedure designed to prevent persons with limited access to gambling and persons with gambling addiction from gambling.”
The working group is expected to develop relevant documents and submit them to the Advisory and Expert Council and the Gambling and Lotteries Regulation Commission for consideration and further work.
